Tokyo to Toba
Day 1
Japan motorcycle tours ninjatours tokyo toba ise jingu
After a bit of easy street riding to get used to your motorcycle, you will be leaving Tokyo on a brief stretch of highway. First-timer to Japan, and can't read any Japanese traffic signs? No worries! We set up your navigation unit with a special set of waypoints that guide you out of the city in the easiest to understand way, using the least crowded roads.

Leaving Tokyo your course will take you along the Tomei Expressway to Lake Hamana, stop at some of the many Rest areas along the highways for Coffee and a brief rest along the way before exiting to the coastal route to Irago Port.

Here where you will catch the Car Ferry for a one hour ferry ride to Toba. It’s a pleasant scenic cruise and a good time to relax.

From Toba, time permitting take the Ise Shima Skyline to the famous Ise JIngu Shrine for some sightseeing, or take the Pearl Road along the coast directly to your hotel for the afternoon ocean views. Total Distance is approx 320km and it will take about 5 hrs of riding time.

Day 2
Toba to Kyoto
As you leave your seaside hotel today your route takes a mountain course along past Ise Shrine. In order to maximize your time in Kyoto today’s a quick expressway section will take you on a fairly direct course to Yunohama onsen and along the Suzuka Skyline, which runs along mountain tops and is a fun twisting winding road.

Continue on to your Hotel in Kyoto where you can enjoy the great variety of sights and sounds the city is famous for. A variety of alternate routes are available for those looking for a more challenging ride today.

Kyoto to Gero Onsen
Day 3

As you leave Kyoto this morning your route will take to the Mt Hiei Driveway, a scenic winding course, up to Mt. Hiei and Kokuho-den. Continue down Oku Hei Driveway down to Lake Biwa.

Cross the lake on a scenic bridge and along the shoreline of Lake Biwa and past Hikone Castle before joining the expressway towards Gero Onsen. Having left the expressway the road winds along a scenic river course following the Hida River to the Gero Onsen which is one of Japan premier Onsen towns. Total Distance is approx 240km and it will take about 4.5hrs riding time

Day 4
Gero Onsen to Mt. Fuji
Departing from Gero there are several routing options available today. The most popular will take you via the historic working village of Tsumago-juku which is a recommended stop over.

From here we will lead you to the most challenging part of today's route along Ida Toge. It's a narrow twisty road through the mountains, but the road surface is good and it's a fun road (alternate route available for the more…conservative).

Continue toward Lake Suwa and on toward Mt. Fuji before diverting onto Misaka Michi which is a tricky little road up a mountain and on to a cute coffee shop with great views of Mt. Fuji at the top. Your hotel is a short ride away on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi.

Mt. Fuji to Tokyo
Day 5

You can have a relaxed start to the day, enjoy some of the many sightseeing attractions around Mt.Fuji and then follow some nice winding roads to Lake Sagami and then back onto the expressway to Tokyo. Distance is Approx. 150km and it will take 2 to 3hrs depending conditions
